At Computers to Africa we recognise the difficulty that the normal Home Computer user has when it comes to disposing of their older and redundant computer equipment. As householders you can no longer just dispose of a computer by adding it to you rubbish. Computers now need to be recycled instead of going to land fill!

We are now able to offer the same recycling services to home computer owners as we do for large corporations.

For a fee from as little as £6.99 you can arrange collection of your old computer equipment from anywhere in the UK*.
(Why do we have to make a charge for this service?)

We will wipe and destroy all of you hard drive data (using the same "military standard" that we use for large corporations).

We will check your computer for electrical safety and,if necessary, repair faults that can be repaired.

Assuming that all is OK we will then ship your computer for distribution within Africa.

If your computer fails any of the safety and security checks we will strip it and destroy it. Our methods exceed current WEEE recommendations and every component will be recycled to the same standards offered to our corporate customers.

All you need to do is wrap the computer for collection. The base unit, keyboard and mouse form one parcel, monitor or printer another (each parcel can weigh up to 15kg). The couriers will arrange the rest.
